Health Care UNSCRIPTED 20th Anniversary Gala – Thank you to all who joined us in celebrating our 20th Anniversary on October 3rd.  We raised over $300,000 in support of our programs.  These funds will ensure that women, young and old, can come to us for care, and have opportunity to take steps to move beyond homelessness and poverty to a better life. An Evening of Comedy at ImprovBoston to Benefit Health Care Without Walls — Thanks to those who attended this Evening of Comedy at ImprovBoston to kick off our 20th year celebration! The evening was a great success proving that laughter really is the best medicine. Thanks to ImprovBoston for their talented performers, and thanks to Rockland Trust for sponsoring the evening.

Gift Cards for Moms — Employees at Sage Therapeutics collected gift cards for new moms in our Bridges to Moms program in honor of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month in May 2018. 

Very Important Program (VIP) Tickets— The organizer of the annual Monitorama Open Source Monitoring Conference and Hackathon offers premium Angel Tickets to its sold out conference in support of HCWW. 

Tennis, Anyone? The Score is Love All — Members of the Thoreau Club in Concord showed their support at their Cinco de Mayo Tennis Social with a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and a margarita bar all to benefit HCWW.

Smile for the Camera! — Betty Shilman of Betty Shilman Photography donated a percentage of her revenue over the course of a month to help women in need. 

Tap into your Community — The Congregation at St. Andrews’ Episcopal Church in Wellesley helps in so many ways, from donating funds to collecting socks to knitting hundreds of scarves and hats for our annual holiday giveaway at Women’s Lunch Place.

Say Cheese — Moms and their children were treated to a beautiful mini photo shoot at Elm Bank with Life by Leah. All proceeds went to support our Bridges to Moms program.

Facebook Friends Making a Difference — A group of Mom’s in Natick uses the power of Facebook to collect anything and everything, from diapers to and baby clothes to strollers and fun jewelry and so much more, in support of our Bridges to Moms Program.

Getting By With a Little Help From Your Friends — A group of young professionals and graduate students celebrated their achievements and good fortune by purchasing and organizing bags full of items needed by women of all ages. 

15th Anniversary Gala — For our 15th Anniversary we and our partners celebrated at the iconic Fenway Park. We were proud to honor Andrew Dreyfus, President, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA; Angela Menino, Boston’s former First Lady; and Elizabeth G. Nabel, M.D., President, Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Longwood Symphony Orchestra — For three years, the Longwood Symphony Orchestra held a performance to support Healthcare Without Walls, and they have inspired several local organizations–Roche Bros., Whole Foods, SavMor Spirits, 5Bites Cupcakes, and the Wellesley Bakery & Cafe–to sponsor.

Community Hosted Events — Not everyone, like our founder, Dr. Means, hikes Kilimanjaro to raise funds, but we are inspired by the many ways the community has given over the years: memorialized loved ones, collections of socks, a business holding a “Day for a Cause.” Learn how you can host.
